1. Introduction
PassMark ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our platform.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us:
- Account Data: Name, email address, and password.
- Profile Data: Role (Learner/Instructor) and profile preferences.
- Usage Data: Lesson history, test readiness scores, and road sign study progress.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, and speed) are captured during active mock driving test sessions when telemetry tracking is initiated by a connected instructor. This data is used solely to generate route maps and geolocation-tagged fault reports for training analysis. Location tracking is not continuous and only operates during an active mock test session.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the PassMark service:
- To create and manage your account.
- To calculate driving test readiness analytics.
- To facilitate communication between learners and instructors.
- To send transactional emails (lesson confirmations, password resets).
4. Data Security
We implement strict Row Level Security (RLS) on our databases to ensure your data is only accessible to you and authorized parties (like your connected instructor). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
5. Your GDPR Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Right to Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service.
